Overnight, Sony have confirmed the existence of a new PS3 model which will begin shipping at the end of this month. The new model will weigh 2.6kg, feature A 320GB hard drive and the power consumption will be reduced to 200 watts.
Sony have confirmed that no changes will be made to the price of the system.
Guerrilla Games has just given us the first look at the upcoming piece of DLC for Killzone 3, titled “From The Ashes”. The map pack contains Guerrilla Warfare maps and two Warzone maps, two of these maps are Lente Missile Base and Mobile Factory.
Lente Missile Base takes place in an abandoned missile base on the edge of the Kaznan jungle and supports up to 24 players.
Mobile Factory supports up to 16 players and takes place on the biggest vehicle featured in the single player campaign.
“From The Ashes” will be available on June 22 for $4.99/£3.99, a DLC bundle pack will also be released on the same day which include all previous DLC and the “From The Ashes” map pack, this will be priced at $9.99/£7.99.

Dice took to the stage last night on Late Night With Jimmy Falon to show off the first ever console footage of Battlefield 3. The gameplay shows a stage we’ve seen before, however this time running on the PS3 and to say the least, the PS3 version looks incredible! Take a look at the gameplay below.
The next piece of DLC for L.A. Noire hits June 21 and is titled “Nicholson Electroplating”, Rockstar have just released a trailer which details the DLC. The official description reads:
“At 9.45 in the morning, a thunderous explosion rocks Los Angeles. City blocks are flattened and smoke and ash fill the air. Detectives Phelps and Biggs race to the site of the former Nicholson Electroplating plant to find a pile of unanswered questions. What caused the explosion? What were Nicholson’s employees working on? And where are chief chemist Dr Harold McLellan and his mysterious female assistant?”
“Nicholson Electroplating” will be made available on June 21 for $3.99, or is free if you have purchased the Rockstar Pass. Check out the trailer below!
After officially confirming the existence of the Annihilation map pack earlier today, Activision has released a preview looking at the 4 new multiplayer maps and zombies map.
Remember the GameStop promotional flyer from yesterday? Well another promotional flyer has been spotted in the wild and it’s much clearer and better quality! The poster lists the Annihilation map pack for a June 28 release date, presumably for the Xbox 360 first.
Kotaku asked Activision for clarification, however got a reply of “no comment”.

Devil May Cry is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, and according to a Spanish retailer, a Devil May Cry 10th Anniversary Collection will be released to commemorate it. The collection supposedly contains Devil May Cry, Devil May Cry 2 and the special edition of Devil May Cry 3, presumably all in HD.
The collection is so far only listed for the PS3 and is down for a November 30 release date. Take a look at the boxart below!
